Welcome to Sew Splice, operated by A & A Creative Entertainment Pty Ltd (“Company”, “we”, “us”, “our”).
By accessing or using this website, purchasing a product, or booking a class, course, or workshop with us, you agree to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before using our website or services.

If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use this website or participate in any Sew Splice activities.


2. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including but not limited to text, images, graphics, logos, photographs, videos, sewing patterns, and course materials, are the property of A & A Creative Entertainment Pty Ltd, unless otherwise stated.
You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or use any content for commercial purposes without our prior written consent.


3. Booking Policy

All class, workshop, and course bookings are subject to availability and must be made through our website or approved booking channels.

  • Full payment or a deposit (if applicable) is required at the time of booking to secure your place.
  • The balance (if applicable) must be paid by the due date specified on your booking confirmation.
  • Bookings are not confirmed until payment has been received.

4. Cancellations and Refunds

All cancellations or refund requests must be received in writing via email to info@sewsplice.com.au

  • If you cancel your booking:
    You may transfer your spot to another person by notifying us in writing at least 48 hours before the class start time.
    If you cannot attend and do not provide notice, your booking will be forfeited.
    If you request a refund 7 days before the class start date, a full refund will be provided.
  • If we cancel or reschedule:
    In the unlikely event that we cancel or reschedule a session, you will be offered the choice of a full refund.

We reserve the right to cancel any class or course if minimum numbers are not met or in unforeseen circumstances (e.g. illness, emergencies, or venue issues).


5. Class Attendance and Conduct

Please arrive at least 10 -30 minutes early for your class or course.
Late arrivals may miss essential instructions, and we may not be able to extend the session to accommodate this.

All participants must follow staff instructions at all times to ensure safety and a positive learning environment.
We reserve the right to refuse participation or remove any attendee whose behaviour is disruptive, unsafe, or inappropriate, without refund.

We are an inclusive safe space and respect and celebrate members of all races, minorities, gender expressions, sexual orientations, and expect all attendees to be open and accepting of all. Any negative, derogatory, hateful speech or action will not be tolerated.


6. Safety and Liability

Our classes involve the use of sewing machines, needles, scissors, and other sharp tools.
By attending a Sew Splice class or workshop, you acknowledge that you participate at your own risk.

While all reasonable care is taken to ensure safety, we are not responsible for any injury, loss, or damage to personal property that occurs during your participation.

Please inform staff of any relevant medical conditions, accessibility needs, or allergies before attending.


7. Materials and Equipment

Unless otherwise stated, all essential tools and sewing machines are provided for use during classes and workshops.
Some classes may require you to bring your own materials, fabric, or patterns — this will be clearly stated on the class page.

Any damage to equipment or facilities caused by negligence or misuse may result in a charge to cover repair or replacement costs.


8. Gift Vouchers and Credits

Gift vouchers and credits issued by Sew Splice are valid for 3 years from the date of issue unless otherwise stated.
They are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
Lost or stolen physical vouchers will not be replaced, however digital gift cards may be reissues to the original email address used on the order.


9. Photography and Media

Photographs and videos may be taken during sessions for promotional and social media purposes.
If you do not wish to appear in photos or videos, please inform our staff before the session begins.

You agree that any images or media taken by Sew Splice may be used for marketing, advertising, and social media, without compensation or further consent.


10. Bonds (for Private Events)

For private sewing parties or large group bookings, we may charge a bond to cover potential damages or excessive cleaning.

If no damages or extra cleaning are required, the bond will be refunded within 7 business days.
If damages or cleaning are required, deductions may be made at a reasonable market rate, and any excess costs may be charged to the event organiser.


11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sew Splice and A & A Creative Entertainment Pty Ltd are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including but not limited to loss of income, data, or enjoyment, arising out of participation in our services or use of this website.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.


12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time without notice.
Updated versions will be posted on this website and take effect immediately upon publication.
